Here is the Technorati favourites stuff
Well Technorati tells me that I have successfully claimed my blog and I have had a go at putting a Technorati favourites button on the blog.
Technorati looks like it could be fun but not to be explored too much in an exam period or in a time frame when one is trying to get work done. Technorati could be very useful in Library world as it is another form of communication with people. By having library blogs that are out there being regularly updated then you could let people know what is going on at libraries. One thing that we would be able to fight is the sterotype of that libraries are quiet places and no fun happens there. As a YSL part of my job is to go and visit New Mum's groups and I have to convince the New Mother's that we are not like the school libraries where everything is quiet for a reason and we don't go Shhhh! at all. We encourage lots of fun and tools such as those covered in Learning 2.0 would be a useful tool in combating these prejudices.
